Vermillion RCMP Traffic Services are looking for the public’s assistance in apprehending habitual impaired drivers. Police say in a news release that habitual impaired drivers may or may not have multiple prior Criminal records for impaired driving. The RCMP are asking if anyone has knowledge of a habitual impaired driver to include information such as the name, gender identity, age/date of birth, current address and other identifying features such as tattoos and vehicle information when making a report. Between 2012 and 2016, one in six drivers involved in fatal collision in Alberta had been drinking prior to the collision. The Vermillion RCMP Traffic Services patrols roadways in and around Vermillion, Kitscoty, Lloydminster, Wainwright, Provost and Viking.
