Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools says in person classes are cancelled at Holy Trinity Catholic School in Warman, École Holy Mary Catholic School in Martensville, as well as Saints Augustine and Dominic Schools in Humboldt, but not because of COVID. The winter storm that has immersed Saskatchewan in blizzard conditions has closed a significant number of highways and travel is not recommended on many others.

The Catholic school division says the decision was made in partnership with Prairie Spirit School Division as they work to ensure the safety of students and staff. Students are encouraged to use the time to work on previously assigned work in Edsby or their online learning management system. New online work will not be assigned.

Classes are scheduled to resume tomorrow.
