Saskatoon Police are investigating a stabbing that took place Saturday morning.

In a news release, police say a 38 year-old man was stabbed in the 200 block of Avenue N South.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious but not-life threatening injuries.

Police say the victim and the assailant are known to each other.

No arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
