Maidstone RCMP responded to a report of shots fired at a vehicle Sunday night around 11:15, on Highway 16 west of Lashburn. There were no injuries reported, and police believe this was not a targeted event. The vehicle was described as a dark coloured one ton truck with three people inside.

The RCMP reminds travelers that any suspicious activity on highways and roads, should contact police immediately. Anyone with information is this vehicle shooting is asked to contact your local police or submit a tip anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
