RCMP say the situation in Kindersley has been resolved.

Early this morning around 5:30 Kindersley RCMP and Rosetown Traffic Services responded to a potential armed and barricaded situation at an apartment building on Main Street. Traffic barricades were placed around the area, and additional RCMP resources were brought in to help with the situation. Residents were asked to avoid the area.

Police say a suspect was apprehended without incident and no one was hurt.
