The provincial government is accepting applications for the Community Airport Partnership program to help offset costs associated with rehabilitations and upgrades.
Under the program, communities can apply for up to $275,000 in grants.
Highways Minister Fred Bradshaw, says community airports are important to our provincial economy, and they secure the safety of our communities through supporting services like Air Ambulance and firefighting.
The province contributed a record $1.5-million for 17 community airports in this fiscal year’s budget.
Applications are now open for grants in the next fiscal year.
The deadline is 5pm on March 13th.
