The Prince Albert Police Service responded to a home early Wednesday morning, for a complaint of a shooting. When officers arrived to the 500 block of 5th Street East, they found a 30 year old man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the Victoria Hospital and then to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.

The investigation continues and the Police Service is asking anyone from the area to check their surveillance systems and to contact them if they notice any suspicious activity captured between 4:30 am and 6 am Wednesday.
