A body was discovered in a Regina row home as emergency crews responded to a fire in one of the suites. The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service and Regina Fire and Protective Services is investigating.
Emergency crews were dispatched just before two Thursday morning. Several suites were evacuated and Mobile Crisis was called to help. Regina Police say the body of what is believed to be a man was found around 2:15.
Once his identity is confirmed, his family will be notified. The investigation continues to determine the cause of the fire and the circumstances of the victim’s death.
