Three individuals were to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court Monday in connection with a January 29 serious assault, forcible confinement and mail theft incident.
Thirty-six-year-old Brenda Partridge was arrested back on February 16 by Loon Lake R-C-M-P after Meadow Lake R-C-M-P received a report of a woman in distress at a residence on 3rd Avenue West in Meadow Lake on January 29. An investigation determined she had been threatened and assaulted, then forcibly confined. Officers then found a large quantity of mail believed to be connected to break-ins to mail boxes in Meadow Lake. Subsequent investigation led to the arrests this past Saturday of 19-year-old Dallas Gunn and 19-year-old Montana Morin. The investigation also determined there was a separate assault on an adult male. Both he and the woman initially found injured were treated in hospital for non life-threatening injuries. Partridge, Gunn and Morin all face multiple charges.
