SaskEnergy will conduct a controlled natural gas flare at its Town Border Station #1 in Saskatoon Wednesday morning between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
Those in the area near the city landfill and north of Valley Road will notice natural gas being released from the gas line in a controlled burn called a flare. Flaring removing the remaining gas from the line before and during scheduled work.
Residents and motorists will notice a 40 foot flame being emitted from the flare stack.
