In an update to the Battlefords RCMP reporting a suspicious death which happened in the early morning hours on Sunday, the Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit is asking anyone who lives or works around the 1600 block of 102nd Street in North Battleford to check any security footage from between midnight and 4am. If you have captured footage of anyone in that area during that time frame, call the RCMP. Investigators are trying to identify anyone who may have information about this suspicious death.

Just after 2:30 Sunday morning, police responded to a home on 102nd Street and found 61 year old David Lapointe dead. Anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP or report a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
