A ruling on whether evidence is admissible from the voir dire in the Greg Fertuck trial, accused of first degree murder in the death of his estranged wife, Sheree Fertuck, was set for March 30th, but that has since changed. The crown is applying to re open the voir dire to include new evidence. A voir dire is known as a trial within a trial, to consider whether evidence is admissible, like a Mr. Big Sting, which was a factor in the investigation of Fertuck’s murder.

Fifty-one year old Sheree Fertuck was last seen leaving her family’s farm near Kenaston in December of 2015. Her body has never been found, but in June of 2019, Fertuck was arrested and charged with first degree murder and indignity to human remains. The next court date in this case is April 29th.
