The number of COVID-19 deaths in Saskatchewan more than doubled in the latest EPI report compared to the previous week.
There were 28 virus-related deaths for the week of March 6th to the 12th.
The week prior saw 13 deaths.
On the hospitalizations front, the number of people receiving care for COVID-19 is at 299, down from 336 on March 9th.
Those in an intensive care unit sits at 18, down from 24 the previous week.
Of the population five years and older, 85.6 per cent have received at least one dose of vaccine.
There were 832 positive cases reported to the Ministry of Health over the last week.
