A large contingency of officers conducted multiple search warrants early Friday morning in North Battleford and surrounding area.
Police say they seized quantities of drugs, and a number of firearms. The search warrants were executed at five homes and a commercial property in the North Battleford industrial area on Marquis Avenue. One home in the R.M. of Meota was searched, another in Landis and three in North Battleford. RCMP say more specific details on this investigation will be released early next week.
Included in the efforts were Saskatchewan RCMP Crime Reduction Teams and Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Teams from North Battleford, Prince Albert and Saskatoon, North Battleford RCMP Gang Task Force, and RCMP Police Dog Services, North Battleford and Unity RCMP Detachments, and Saskatoon and North Battleford RCMP General Investigation Services.
