Just before 10:30 Sunday morning, Saskatoon Police spotted a Jeep that had previously been reported stolen. Officers then attempted a traffic stop at 22nd Street and Avenue D, although the driver refused to stop and started to drive an erratic and dangerous manner. Officers on the ground were guided with help from the Air Support Unit. A tire deflation device was successful in causing the vehicle to stop at Avenue C and Pakwa Place. The three people inside the Jeep attempted to flee, although they were apprehended nearby. A 25-year-old Saskatoon woman, a 26-year-old Prince Albert man and a 31-year-old Moose Jaw man are facing a total of 46 charges including dangerous driving and evading police. A search of the vehicle turned up a sawed-off shotgun, a loaded sawed-off rifle and an airsoft pistol with ammunition. All three were wanted on outstanding warrants.
