A caller to the CJWW Newsroom Sunday morning said road conditions between Saskatoon and North Battleford are not the greatest.

It’s said there is ice on the highway from Saskatoon to Maymont.

“There’s about a 25 vehicle pile-up on (Highway) 16 west, impassable – I had to go through the ditch to get around them and I’m just in Battleford now at 8 o’clock and it is fog all the way from Saskatoon to Battleford.”

The forecast from Environment Canada says fog patches should fade away sometime this morning in both the Saskatoon and North Battleford areas.

The Highway Hotline is reporting Travel Not Recommended between Radisson and Maymont Sunday morning. This is due to slippery conditions, ice covered portions, fog and reduced visibility.
