The Government of Saskatchewan says April’s public offering of Crown petroleum and natural gas rights held on Tuesday generated more than ten times the revenue which was generated in the same period last year.

The April sale netted $19,307,203.94  and when combined with what was raised so far for the 2022-23 fiscal year, it has already exceeded 2021-22’s total of $14,988,127.34.

The Estevan area produced the highest interest, bringing in more than $17 million dollars for 142 parcels totaling almost 12 thousand hectares.
