The vendor for the City’s paid parking app, WayToPark is launching a new app this June called Parkedin.
In a news release, the City says beginning June 1st, Parkedin will officially replace the WayToPark app as Saskatoon’s new app-based parking payment system.
June 1st will be the first day the new app is available for download and both WayToPark and Parkedin will be available in tandem during a transition period throughout the month of June.
Some new features will become available with the switchover including the ability to pay for parking with a QR code and support for debit transactions.
The transportation committee will review a report on proposed amendments to the traffic bylaw to facilitate the usage of the new app on April 11th.
