A Saskatchewan businessman who wants to lead the federal Conservative party held a meet and greet Saturday morning to try to drum up support.
Joseph Bourgault, hailing from St. Brieux, said his interest comes from family political discussions through the years. He says says for decades the country hasn’t seen the type of leadership the country needs and the tax plan he is proposing is mathematical showing the true cost of living at the poverty line.
After his stop in Regina, he visited Weyburn and Estevan.
Bourgault said he’s made the first $50,000 payment to enter the race and is over halfway to the amount of signatures he needs.
