Saskatchewan has a new lottery millionaire. Donna and Alvin Bohn of Grenfell won $1-million in the March 29th Western Max draw. Donna Bohn says when she heard there was a big winner somewhere in Regina, she never considered it could be her. It didn’t click in that she had even picked up a ticket, but decided to check them anyway.

When her husband Alvin arrived home, Donna says she was waiting for him outside. Using the Lotto Spot! app, the two checked and rechecked their tickets for a half an hour before calling in to verify their win. The couple plans to use their windfall to finish rebuilding them home after a fire.
