R-C-M-P have made an arrest in connection with a fatal vehicle-pedestrian accident on the George Gordon First Nation on April 3.

Twenty-two-year-old Ty Hunter of the George Gordon First Nation has been charged with one count of failure to stop after accident resulting in death. He will make his first court appearance in Punnichy Provincial Court on May 24. Hunter was arrested on Tuesday by the Saskatchewan R-C-M-P’s Yorkton Provincial General Investigation Section following their investigation into the April 3 collision that resulted in the death of a 52-year-old female from the George Gordon First Nation.
