The Easter long-weekend is here and with that, the Friendship Inn is gearing up for another Easter dinner on Monday.
Executive Director, Sandra Kary says they’re preparing to serve 800 meals that day. That includes both dine-in and take-out meals.
She adds they’re still looking for donations which can be dropped off any day of the week from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the west side door.
“We could use some turkeys for sure, hams, frozen or canned vegetables, boxed stuffing mixes, pies or desserts, anything like that, it all gets added to the mix and helps us really put on nice spread.”
The dinner will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday. The Friendship Inn is looking to staff 10 to 15 volunteers on the day of and the days leading up to help with prep.
Those interested in lending a helping hand can do so by calling the Friendship Inn.
