The Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board released their 2021 injury stats on Easter Monday.

The report stated there were 31 workplace fatalities last year. That compares to 34 in 2020. The WCB says the fatalities happened in a variety of Saskatchewan industries.

Injury claims accepted decreased by 0.25 per cent to 17,899 in 2021 from 17,944 in 2020.

The 2021 injury rate was 4.56 per 100 workers.
