The Saskatoon Police Service says two people have been charged with second degree murder in connection to an injured person call on Friday afternoon.
Warman RCMP were called to a report of an injured person on Hodgson Road near Highway #7, about 5 kilometres southwest of Saskatoon. A 22 year old man from the Fishing Lake First Nation was pronounced deceased shortly after emergency responders arrived.
The RCMP investigation determined the man had been at a Saskatoon home in the 600 block of Wardlow Road. RCMP contacted Saskatoon Police and both of their Major Crime units continued the investigation.
At approximately 11 p.m. on Saturday night, Saskatoon Police arrested two suspects at the same home in the city’s Meadowgreen neighbourhood.
A 33 year old woman and a 27 year old man are both charged with Second Degree Murder and are in court today (mon).
Police say the incident is not believed to be random.
