A second person has died from injuries suffered in a two vehicle crash near Martensville on April 9th.

RCMP confirm the driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee has died in hospital. A member of the Warman RCMP detachment attempted to stop the Jeep after observing it driving erratically on Highway 12. The officer was unable to stop the vehicle which sped away on the wrong side of the highway. It collided with a northbound SUV driven by a 30-year old pregnant woman, who died at the scene. Her passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

An RCMP spokesperson says the investigation continues and no other details are being released.
