The Saskatoon Blades begin their post-season tomorrow at the Moose Jaw Warriors. Game time is 7 p.m. for Game 1 of a best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarter-final. CJWW’s broadcast starts at 6:30 p.m. with the play-by-play at 7 p.m. Game 2 is Saturday in Moose Jaw with Games 3 and 4 at SaskTel Centre on Tuesday, April 26th and Wednesday, April 27th. All game times are 7 p.m. with all games being broadcast on CJWW, beginning with the Pre-Game Show at 6:30. The Blades finished the regular-season with 38 wins, 26 losses, 4 extra time losses for 80 points…good for 5th place in the Eastern Conference. The Warriors wound up with 37 wins, 24 losses, 7 extra time losses for 81 points…good for 4th place in the East.
Also opening tomorrow, the Prince Albert Raiders will meet the Winnipeg ICE in a best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarter-final playoff series. The first two games of the series will be played tomorrow and Saturday in Winnipeg with Games 3 and 4 at the Art Hauser Centre on Tuesday, April 26th and Wednesday, April 27th. Raiders’ home games will start at 7 p.m. P-A finished the regular-season with 28 wins, 35 losses, 5 extra time losses for 61 points…good for 8th place in the Eastern Conference. P-A Winnipeg ended up with 53 wins, 10 losses, 5 extra time losses for 111 points…good for 1st place in the East.
