It was already an odd situation but got weirder in a social media post from Corman Park Police. They said their officers pulled over a vehicle on Highway 11 north Wednesday night and the driver was charged with driving while disqualified. The vehicle was impounded so the driver called a friend to pick them up who allegedly arrived while under the influence. Corman Park Police say the friend failed a roadside breath test twice – coming in at .09 and .08. so that person was arrested for impaired driving. What made the situation especially unusual was how the post ended. Corman Park Police posted an update which said, “the female was in the trunk by their own choice and was unharmed.”
