SaskPower says its crews made significant gains Sunday on restoring power to storm-stricken southeast Saskatchewan.
As of 8:00 p.m. Sunday night crews were able to restore power to approximately 12,000 customers. Customers still experiencing an outage in a community where power has been restored should call the SaskPower Outage Centre because there is a chance with a storm of this size that the lines which connnect homes and businesses to the SaskPower grid, may have sustained damage.
There were still 12, 188 customers without power overnight in Frobisher, White Bear, Redvers and Storthoaks.
SaskPower has brought in crews from across the province including Regina, Saskatoon, Weyburn, North Battleford, Yorkton, Melville, and Swift Current. There are 182 technicians who make up the 35 crews conducting ongoing repairs.
