Two more boys, ages 13 and 15, have been arrested and charged with second degree murder in connection to the death of 27 year old Shedane Favel on Sunday morning in the 200 block of Avenue O South. They appear in court tomorrow morning (Wed).
That makes five teens charged and Saskatoon Police say no further arrests are anticipated. On Monday, three boys, 13, 14 and 16 years old, made their first appearances in Saskatoon Provincial Court charged with second degree murder.
Shedane Favel waved police over Sunday morning and was taken by ambulance to the hospital, but succumbed to his injuries. The first three teens arrested are back in court on May 5th.
Investigators say there was a robbery involving a firearm in the same area just prior to the shooting, but the victim got away.
Police are asking for him to come forward, or for anyone with information on this incident, to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
