SaskPower says it restored power to another 1,150 residential and farm customers yesterday.
The conditions are described as difficult, wet and muddy. Approximately 300 customers would remain without power last night and all are expected to have power back on by this evening.
SaskPower is thanking countless farmers and producers who have aided in the restoration in the southeast helping tow power line equipment through muddy fields because the company says without that help some repairs would have taken much longer.
Today is the fourth day for SaskPower crews working to restore power to the snowstorm battered southeast Saskatchewan.
In the coming days, customers in the southeast could experience short planned outages while SaskPower crews complete permanent repairs to the grid. Information about these planned outages can be found on Twitter (@saskpower) or at saskpower.com/outages.
