It was shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday that SaskPower could declare that all power had been restored to remaining customers impacted by last weekend’s snowstorm in southeast Saskatchewan.
Crews are being sent back to their home districts and SaskPower says the salvage operation will now begin.
The Crown power company extends its thanks to residents saying the damage sustained in the recent storm was substantial and the warmth and support from the southeast was greatly appreciated.
Customers in the region may experience short, planned outages in the coming days as crews continue to make repairs.
