A North Battleford man charged with the second degree murder of a 22 year old woman in March of 2020 has been sentenced after pleading guilty to manslaughter. North Battleford RCMP responded to a request to check on the well-being of Sequin Mooswa at her apartment, and she was found dead. Twenty-three year old Keenan Mirasty is sentenced to ten years, which comes out to 6 years and 9 months after time served.
