Scott Moe is hitting the road next week.
Saskatchewan’s Premier is going to the United Arab Emirates on trade mission that will focus on the natural resource, agriculture and agri-value sectors. With a trade office that opened in January in the United Arab Emirates, Moe believes the province has a lot to offer the Middle East nation as a producer of agriculture, energy and mining products. The Premier will also talk about carbon capture tech in Saskatchewan as well as highlighting the province as a global energy leader. Saskatchewan is already the largest supplier of canola seed and lentils to the U-A-E, to the tune of $636 million in 2021. Moe’s trip will last from May 7-11 and will include meetings with government and industry representatives in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
