Today (May10) is Day 22 of the search for five year old Frank Young. Carrot River RCMP say he was reported missing from his home on Red Earth Cree Nation on April 19th. He had been playing in the front yard of his home when he was last seen around noon that day, although police say he may have been spotted at a playground around 2:30 that afternoon. Frank was wearing Paw Patrol rubber boots, green pyjamas with dinosaurs on them, and a navy blue windbreaker-style jacket.
Volunteers and professional searchers have been combing the area since that day, and an RCMP dive team was brought in to help in the search. Media reports say the dive team patrolled 40 kilometres down the Carrot River. A pair of small boots were spotted, but the missing boy’s family confirmed they didn’t belong to him.
