With 539 calls for service in the last week, North Battleford RCMP say a vehicle wanted in connection to a robbery from Wetaskiwin, Alberta was located in the city shortly before noon on Sunday. RCMP say the man wanted in connection to the theft, assaulted officers when they tried to make an arrest. One officer suffered minor injuries. Twenty-eight-year-old Kyle Hoffman is facing charges of Assaulting a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Mischief and Possession of Stolen Property.

Meanwhile the day before, on Saturday, a 52 year old woman from Meadow Lake was dropped off at the hospital in North Battleford in the early morning hours with a large laceration to her face. Police have yet to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

To kick the week off, police responded to a report of a Break and Enter to an apartment on 111th Street in North Battleford just before 11 in the morning on May 5th. RCMP officers fund a man sleeping inside. The 46 year old was arrested without incident and is facing one count of Break and Enter.

And finally, police say they were notified about a person trying to sell guns stolen from the Blaine Lake Area. A suspect was tracked down in a vehicle on Railway avenue East late Friday afternoon.  Two firearms linked in to a Break and Enter reported earlier that day in the Blaine Lake district were recovered along with some ammunition and a cell phone. A 36 year old Regina man is facing multiple weapons charges.
