A 29-year-old Regina man is charged with uttering threats among other charges following a weapons offence on Friday.
Police in the Queen City say shortly after 1 o’clock in the afternoon, they were called to a hotel on Harbour Landing Drive. It was reported a man was allegedly threatening to harm himself.
When security and police were notified, the man left for a brief time before returning again. He left again after he saw security. He was arrested at a nearby business without incident.
Two pliers, a utility knife, along with health cards that didn’t belong to him were found when searching the suspect.
John Tapak appeared in court Monday.
