Today (Thurs), the SOS Trees Coalition is going to kick off Arbor Week with a tree planting ceremony at the Ukrainian Museum of Canada in Saskatoon dedicated to the Ukrainian community. SOS Trees Coalition say trees represent peace, hope and life – something Ukrainian people long for at this time. The organization will plant three Highbush Cranberry which they say is an important plant fo rthe Ukraine. The Tree Planting ceremony takes place at the museum on Spadina Crescent East in Saskatoon this afternoon.
