Around 6 o’clock last night, Regina Police were called to a business in the 2200 block of Victoria Avenue East for a report of a robbery.

Police say a man entered the business with a knife and threatened to shoot a staff member with a gun. The 31-year-old suspect allegedly took an item from the store and left the scene.

Officers located a man matching the description of the suspect in the area.

Danton McKay is facing a robbery charge and a breach of probation. He’s due in court on Tuesday.

Regina Police also attended to another robbery last night (sat). This time in the 1600 block of 11th Avenue.

In a news release, police say the victim, an adult male, was assaulted and personal property was taken from him.

A man matching the description of the suspect was located by police.

Twenty-eight year old David Anaskan is facing charges including robbery.

He is also due in court on Tuesday.
