A fifth person has been charged in connection to a fatal shooting on Beardy’s and Okemasis’ Cree Nation. Rosthern RCMP responded on March 27th to an injured man on a road in that community. Despite life saving efforts, 22 year old Cody Tait of Saskatoon died at the scene.

On May 16th, 22 year old Precious Gamble of the Cree Nation was charged with second degree murder. She appears in Saskatoon Provincial Court on May 26th. Robbie Cameron of Saskatoon was arrested and Charged on March 29th, followed by Scotty Jimmy of North Battleford and Allison Bear of Saskatoon on April 1st. Then 29 year old Dana Morning child of Saskatoon was arrested on April 5th. All are now making their way through the court system.
