The Saskatoon Police say two officers and a suspect suffered non-life threatening injuries after tumbling down a flight of stairs on Sunday morning. Police were dispatched to a building in the 200 block of Kingsmere Boulevard where a man was seen sleeping on the stairwell but the caller said it was unclear if the person was breathing.

This was around 7:15 a.m. and when officers arrived they found a 21 year old man in the stairwell, tried to wake him but say he became combative and began to fight. Two officers and the 21 year old man fell down the stairs. The suspect was finally subdued with the help of two more officers. The 21 year old is charged with two counts of Assaulting a Police Officer.
