Tuesday morning just after 11, Meadow Lake RCMP responded to a semi rollover on Highway 4, about 30 kilometres south of that community, and now police are saying the driver has died. The 48 year old from Meadow Lake was pronounced dead at the scene.

The semi was hauling diesel, which spilled. The containment and clean-up of the fuel is being overseen by the Meadow Lake Fire Department. Highway 4 was closed during the initial investigation, with a 73 kilometre detour. RCMP say the investigation continues.
