Beauval RCMP are looking for a man who had been wearing an electronic monitoring device as part of a court-ordered 24-hour curfew, who has gone missing. The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety reported to police that an electronic monitoring device had been tampered with. Police say Vincent Roy, who was wearing the device, was not at his court-approved home.
He was on court-ordered conditions for charges related to an incident on April 25th which includes arson, assault with a weapon and committing an offence for a criminal organization. RCMP found the damaged monitoring device inside the home. Vincent Roy’s new charges are mischief under $5,000 and failing to comply with a release order condition. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
