Thanks to a matching donation from the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon, the YMCA was able to raise over $158,000 in its “Have A Heart” campaign. The Kinsmen Club matched funds up to $75,000 to support the Strong Kids Financial Assistance Program.

The YMCA of Saskatoon says in a news release that last year alone, over 350 children and their families benefited from financial assistance to gain access to programs offered by the YMCA. Some examples include Before & After School Care, Schools Out Camp and the summer Week-long Day Camps. There are also in-house programs for things like swimming and martial arts.
