Prince Albert Police are investigating two homicides that happened on Saturday.
Just after 5:30 yesterday (sat) morning, Prince Albert Police responded to the 800 block of 11th Avenue East for a report that a man had been shot. Once officers arrived, they found a 32-year-old man suffering from serious injuries in the 1000 block of 8th Street East. The victim was then transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police are asking residents to check their surveillance cameras to see if any suspicious activity took place between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. Saturday morning.
Prince Albert Police are also looking into another homicide that happened Saturday night. Just before 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of River Street West for a weapons complaint. Once police arrived, they located a 47-year-old man suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. No arrests have been made and police are continuing to investigate.
