An 18 year old male is in custody following a report to Saskatoon Police about a person with a gun at a school parking lot.
Around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon officers responded to a school in the 200 block of Primrose Drive. Bishop James Mahoney High School is located on that block.
Police were told a suspect was in possession of what was determined to be a replica BB gun. It was reported he fired the gun at three males, striking one of them, and that male received a minor injury.
The suspect then fled, and was taken into custody shortly after in the 200 block of Broadbent Avenue, about 2.5 kilometres away in Saskatoon’s Silverwood Heights neighbourhood, by the Corman Park Police Service.
Charges, as of the time the last news release was issued, had not been filed against the suspect.
