Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit are investigating a stabbing which occurred around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue North. It was reported to police there was an injured man at a business. Police say a man was approached on the street by three suspects who stabbed him before stealing his bicycle.

The three suspects, two men and a woman, are all described as being in their 20s. The woman had dark hair and was wearing white or light coloured sweat pants, a light coloured hoodie, white socks and black “Birkenstock” style sandals, and she had a light coloured bag over her shoulder. One man was thin and was wearing a black hoodie with a white logo or design on the front, black pants with a white strip down the side, and he had a black backpack. The second man had an average build and was wearing all black including his backpack. The stolen bike has white front spokes and a white seat.

The 35 year old victim was taken to hospital and he is in serious but stable condition. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or leave an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
