The Tuesday morning serious single vehicle accident that closed down Highway 4 south of Battleford for several hours has resulted in a fatality.
A 25-year-old female from the Mosquito First Nation was declared deceased at the scene. She was the driver of the vehicle that rolled over on Highway 4, about 10 kilometres south of Battleford, at about 7:40 a.m. on June 7. An adult male passenger was taken to hospital with injuries that were described as non life-threatening. The investigation continues with the assistance of a Saskatchewan R-C-M-P traffic reconstructionist.
