The RCMP say a teen who went missing on Friday at Barney’s Beach near Buffalo Pound Provincial Park was located, deceased.

The teen was discovered around 6:30 a.m. this morning (tues) in the water, by a member of the public, near the shoreline in the area where he was last seen.

RCMP says five teenagers were walking and swimming Friday afternoon when the wind and waves swept one of them out into the water.

The RCMP, Moose Jaw Search and Rescue, STARS Air Ambulance and conservation officers all attended the scene.
