Regina’s most recent homicide case is connected to a recent missing person’s case as the missing person and the homicide victim are one and the same.
With the consent of the family, the Regina Police Service confirmed that 63-year-old Anne Marie Zaremba is the city’s fifth homicide victim. Zaremba’s body was found inside a building in the 1300 block of Oxford Bay on Friday, June 17th, four days after she was reported missing to Regina Police. A 75-year-old male has been arrested and faces criminal charges, including second degree murder.
