Around 3:45 on Sunday afternoon, Lumsden RCMP were told of a missing swimmer at the public beach in Buena Vista, on Last Mountain Lake. RCMP officers from Lumsden, Moose Jaw and the Underwater Recovery Team responded, along with conservation officers with the Provincial Protective Services Branch, local fire, and EMS.

Local citizens also helped in the search for a 19 year old man, who was found deceased in the water, near where he had last been seen. The RCMP thanks all those who assisted in the search.
